The season lives on scraps of paper
The fixtures are in an email, attendance is on your phone and the session plan is on the back of an envelope. On Saturday nobody remembers who played least last week, and by June there is hardly anything left of the season.
A planner made for grassroots football
Everything is in one PDF to print: a season overview, a page for every month, session plans, match sheets, attendance registers, tournament sheets and player progress. One page sums up the age groups and match formats in England for 2026/27.
What's inside
The whole season in one place
An overview from August to June, a page for every month, the fixture list, the team sheet, contacts and equipment.
Sessions ready to fill in
36 plans with warm-up, games, match play and cool-down, each with a blank pitch to draw on. A completed example shows you how.
Every child plays
Every match sheet has a playing-time grid for each period. One page explains, with a worked example, how to share the periods fairly between all the children.
Progress without comparing
16 progress records, filled in at the start, middle and end of the season, with a simple 1 to 4 scale and one goal at a time.

| Playing time | A grid per period on every match sheet | Hard to check afterwards |
| Player progress | Three check-ins per child each season | Memories, nothing written down |

Questions
What size are the pages? Can I print on US Letter?
The pages are A4 (21 × 29.7 cm). On a US Letter printer, choose “Fit to page”: the page shrinks slightly and everything stays easy to read.
How do I get the planner?
After payment, you receive an email with a link to download the PDF straight away. Nothing is sent by post.
Do I have to print everything?
No. Print the whole planner or just the pages you need, in black and white on a home printer. Session plans, match sheets and attendance registers can be printed again whenever you run low.
Can I share it with my club or the other coaches?
The licence covers personal and family use, as the licence page in the PDF states: you may print it as many times as you need for that use. Sharing the file (by email, online or on social media), reselling it or publishing it is not permitted.
How is it different from the football coach workbooks?
Zé’s three coach workbooks (U6-U7, U8-U9 and U7 to U13) are mainly illustrated drills. This planner organises the season: calendar, blank session plans, match sheets, attendance and player progress. They work well together.
Does it follow the FA formats?
The age-group page lists the maximum formats announced in England for 2026/27, from 3v3 at U7 to 9v9 at U12-U13. The planner is independent of The FA, and every sheet works with any format, because you draw the line-up on a blank pitch.
