A season goes by fast

Match after match, session after session. A goal, a tip from the coach, a great team move… A few weeks later, it's all forgotten. The score sometimes sticks, but the effort and the progress fade away.

A journal to fill in, compare and keep

This journal follows your child through the season. Before the match, they note their position and their target. Afterwards, they fill in their numbers, what went well and what they want to work on. They also keep their best training sessions and compare their progress between the start and the end of the season.

What's inside

  • They get ready for every match

A "Before kick-off" page: date, opponent, position, shirt number, target for the match, and a pitch to show where they play.

  • They can see themselves improve

8 skills (ball control, passing, shooting, dribbling…) to rate at the start of the season, then again at the end.

  • They remember what they learn

12 training sessions to write about: what they worked on, what was tricky, what they'll try again.

  • They keep their memories

A note from the coach, messages from teammates, their favourite photo and the best moments of the season.

Questions

Is the PDF A4 or US Letter?

The pages are US Letter (21.6 × 27.9 cm), the size of the original paperback. They print fine on A4: choose "Fit to page" in the print window and the page is reduced very slightly.

How do I receive the journal?

Right after payment, you get an email with a link to download the PDF. Nothing is sent by post: you print it at home.

Is it a translation of a French book?

Yes. It's the English edition of "Mon carnet de progression foot" by Zé (Éditions Zé), translated and adapted for English-speaking families: same 100 pages, same layout. The PDF opens with the colour cover, then a licence page: personal and family use, print as often as you need, no sharing of the file.

Do I need a colour printer?

No. The inside pages are black and grey, so a black-and-white printer is all you need.

Which age groups is it for?

It's designed for boys and girls aged 7 to 13, roughly U8 to U14. The pages work whatever format your child plays, and every page is in English.

Can I print pages again?

Yes, for personal use: a torn page, a new season, or a second journal for a brother or sister. The file must not be shared or resold.
