Puzzles too small to enjoy
In many puzzle magazines, sudoku grids are small and cramped: the numbers are tiny, there’s no room to write, and you end up squinting.
One big grid per page
Each puzzle fills a whole A4 page: 18 cm across, 2 cm squares and very large numbers in solid black on white. There’s room to pencil in candidates. The 200 puzzles run from easy to expert, and each has a single solution, checked by computer.
What's inside
Four real levels
Easy (37 or 38 numbers given), medium (30 or 31), hard and expert (23 to 28). Each puzzle’s level is measured by the techniques it needs, and within each level the puzzles go from the simplest to the longest.
For beginners and improvers
One page explains the rules with an example, another gives tips, and two pages cover the techniques for the harder levels: pairs, X-Wing, XY-Wing.
Every solution
All 200 solutions are at the back, six per page, with the starting numbers in bold. Below each puzzle you’ll find the page of its solution.
No guesswork
Every puzzle has one solution and can be solved by logic, without ever trying a number at random: a program checked all 200.
Print it again and again
Gone wrong? Print the puzzle again and start afresh. You can also print a single level, or a few pages to take with you.

Questions
Is the PDF A4 or US Letter?
The pages are A4 (21 × 29.7 cm). On US Letter paper, choose “Fit to page” in the print window: the page is scaled down slightly and nothing gets cut off.
How do I receive the book?
Right after payment, you receive an email with a link to download the PDF. It’s a digital file: nothing is sent by post.
How do I print it?
With an ordinary printer and plain paper. The inside pages are black and white; only the cover is in colour. Print the whole book, a single level or just a few puzzles, whenever you like.
How hard are the puzzles?
There are 4 levels of 50 puzzles. Easy: 37 or 38 numbers given, and everything can be found by scanning rows and columns. Medium: 30 or 31. Hard and expert: 23 to 28, with the techniques explained in the book. All of them can be solved by logic, without guessing.
Can I print the puzzles more than once?
Yes. The licence on page 2 of the PDF covers personal and family use: you may print the book as many times as you need for that use, for instance to redo a puzzle or for someone in your household. Sharing, reselling or publishing the file is not permitted.
Can I use it at a club or a care home?
The licence covers personal and family use only, as stated on the licence page of the PDF. It doesn’t cover use with a group or in an organisation.
